It all began on Instagram, a DM neither of us could have imagined would lead to something so beautiful. After months of phone calls, texts and facetimes we finally met for our first date at Bertuccis March 2014. We connected on so many core values, goals and interest. We simply enjoyed each other's company and began to have dates every weekend to escape the work and school norm. Needless to say, we quickly fell in love immersed in each other's company while smitten by good looks and fun flirting.

We officially became exclusive April 27,2014

Our connection only grew stronger throughout the years. We introduced each other into our personal worlds. Raven loves travel and surprised Parsine with his first out of country trip to Negril Jamica in 2016. We then began to travel quite often making it an annual thing. Parsine loves the outdoors, swimming hiking and fishing and took Raven on her first crabbing date in 2019 which became one of our favorite memories that we also keep up with each season. We would always manage to align our lives together intertwining our families and things that mattered most. Even our hair journeys were always in sync, from low cuts together to curly tops and locs.

As the years went on, we’ve experienced plenty highs and lows together from Ravens homeownership in 2024 to Parsines unfortunate auto accident in 2022. We’ve experienced the true meaning of partnership, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Major life shifts will always make you reflect and reevaluate everything. One thing we were reminded through our recent years is how Christ holds our life in his hands and how that relationship needed to be held at the highest standard. " We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God freely and graciously declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins." Romans 3:22-24

Through seasons of joy and challenges, our relationship grew, strengthened by prayer, trust, and the belief that Christ is at the center of our love. We’ve seen His faithfulness in our journey, leading us through big decisions and reminding us of His love through every step.

Parsine proposed summer 2024 while on a Mexico vacation in Cancun setup as a beautiful candlelit beach dinner for two. This was anticipated for some time but still came as a complete surprise. It was a moment of deep gratitude and faith.

Now as we prepare to unite in marriage, we are committed to building a life together that honors God. We are excited to celebrate His sacred covenant with all of you, our dearest family and friends, who have supported and prayed for us along our journey and have been part of our story in so many ways. We are blessed to have this opportunity and look forward to all God has in store for our future.
